Romania - CNG stations

Beitrag von cng.auto » 10.03.2014 18:53

Last week DB-Schenker published press info, that two Iveco Daily Natural Power will be driven in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.

Info might be found here: http://www.dbschenker-romtrans.com/log- ... rence.html

I wonder to know, if these NGVs will be refueled on own refueling point or public access stations.

As there is no public CNG station in Romania up to now, I would assume that they have their own refuelling equipment.

SOCAR opened its 27th natural gas filling station in Romania

April 3, 2014. The first compressed natural gas (CNG) station in the Romanian city of Cluj, located on Traian Vuia Street costs USD 1 million and occupies an area of 3.500 square meters. The filling station is equipped with four fuel pumps and uses the latest technology. Heavy vehicles also can fuel from the new station.

Is it true or the next mistake from GNV Magazine?

Seams to bee a error of ngv. The socar webside say SOCAR opens in Romania petrol station number 27 ! And English gas = petrol !!
No word about cng !
See socar.ro you can switch to English on top !

Hello!
This is my first post in the forum.

I'm Romanian and I can confirm that there are no CNG stations in Romania as of yet (August 2014).

I have asked for more information at the national energy authority (ANRE) and their reply was that the regulations for CNG are in the final phase and will be published soon.

There are a number of logistics companies that use CNG for their trucks, but they are using their own equipment and are not allowed to sell gas.

For those of you that wish to search Romanian websites, instead of CNG use GNC (Gaz Natural Comprimat), or GNCV (Gaz Natural Comprimat utilizat drept combustibil pentru Vehicule).

From what I have understood, there are two deadlines imposed by the European Comission for the whole Community: 2016 for finalizing CNG regulations and 2020 for having CNG refill stations every 150 km.

Hello, Bassmann!

Yes, I will let you know.

As far as I know, Romania is the only gap in the European CNG map. Bulgaria has CNG, even Moldova has it.
